Penny Wilson

  • Background:

Penny is a Registered and Licensed Dietitian in the State of Texas. She has provided nutrition coaching to athletes of various experience and abilities and helped them incorporate nutrition into their training. Her clients include triathletes and runners of various abilities from beginners to those competing in ultra-distance events. She also has experience in helping people with losing weight and maintaining their weight loss.

  • Coaching Philosophy:

“My philosophy of coaching is one that is personalized to each client. Eating is not about the food – it is about the results you get from eating. For those dealing with weight issues, we work together to address the emotional side of it. For busy athletes, we work to find foods that fit into their schedule and they like to eat. I think that just about any food has a place in an eating plan, but the key is determining when and how much. I also work with clients to establish life-long habits. If someone loses weight only to put it back on, they have to deal with the emotional issues of not maintaining the weight. If I can help them establish life-long healthy habits to help keep the weight off, we both win.”
