Summer 2010 Running Retreat Announced

Co-Directors Aaron and Lowell Ladd have announced that after several successful summers in Philadelphia, this year's running retreat will move out west to the mountains of Colorado and be held from August 1-7th. In addition to the location, the retreat will now be a full week rather than a weekend event to take advantage of the ideal training weather as well as the benefits of running at 8000' of altitude.

Starting on Sunday afternoon and running through Saturday morning, this running camp for adults will offer group runs in the massive 36,000 acre Ranch in Weston, Colorado as well as seminars, demonstrations, and group discussions for runners of all ability levels. Couples and families are welcome, as the retreat will utilize cottage accomodations which are very family friendly.

In addition to the running related events, there will be ample time to take advantage of other recreational activities which abound at the ranch. Participants will be able to horseback ride, fish, and hike in the beautiful wilderness of the Sangre de Cristo Mountains.
